A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC

Finally, "A Little Night Music" arrives exclusively in Italy after its great success on Broadway and In the West End of London since 1973. "A Little Night Music", which has received many awards, is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler. It is produced by the rising company I perFORMErs and ATTI SONORI with the collaboration of BSMT- Bernstein School of Musical Theatre. Inspired by the Ingmar Bergman film "Smiles of a Summer Night" in 1955, the musical is about the romantic lives of several couples. The sophisticated and full of sorcery soundtrack composed by Sondheim weaves together those striking waltz, fascinating vocal quartets and lyrics interwoven with humor and poetry. The thrilling air "Send in the Clowns" has quickly sketched out a hit, and it has become a "classic" of the musical engraved by numerous pop singers and musical singers. It is also worth mentioning many other songs, including the female duo Every Day a Little Death, You Must Meet My Wife, A Weekend in the Country, The Miller's Son and Night Waltz. A compelling melodic reconstruction to retrace, as we already mentioned, these love stories of different couples that fate had turned away and brings together in a villa in the countryside for a weekend.
